At the World Championships in Karlstetten, the Templedruid Section A team of Bart Verdronken won gold in the skills/precision driving with one of only two clear rounds. He went on to win Breda and Beekbergen three times and was Belgian Champion. His team is now with Jean de Cloedt who won at Windsor and Sandringham in 2009. This activity started in 1992 and has grown beyond all expectation.
Templedruid ponies have had the highest number of qualifiers of any stud in the World Championships- 35 in all.
We believe that the FEI driving is one of the greatest tests of skill, pony ability, mental compatibility, endurance, and courage, in the equine world.
Templedruid has combined its very large gene pool and breeding grounds in England with some of the greatest performing drivers in the world with the result that the combination is formidable for Templedruid International on the continent.
